macOS: VS Code 1.131 blocks Local Network access for integrated terminal/Remote-SSH (regression, works on 1.130) · Issue #328399 · microsoft/vscode

I have another workaround that may help narrow this down.
If I fully quit VS Code, then launch it directly from Terminal, it works for me.
e.g. "/Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/MacOS/Code"
If I launch it normally, LAN access fails in VS Code (ping/ssh => No route to host) while the same commands in Terminal work fine. However, when launched this way via Terminal, both the integrated VS Code terminal and Remote-SSH work fine.
I also confirmed this is user-specific on the same Mac: of 3 macOS accounts, 1 works normally and 2 have the issue. The affected accounts have duplicate VS Code/Chrome entries under Local Network permissions.
This seems consistent with Apple TN3179 and may point to per-user Local Network privacy state.
